So, let’s get the depressing part of the latest “Total Divas” out of the way first: Natalya and Tyson Kidd’s (TJ) beloved pet cat, Gismo, is on his last legs after suffering a stroke, and the couple is left with no choice but to euthanize him when it becomes clear that his quality of life won’t be up to par. Given that Gismo kept Tyson’s company throughout his recovery, the poor guy’s passing hits him particularly hard. So much so, in fact, that Tyson’s nearly unable to bring himself to compete in his first match back from injury. Of course, he battles through the pain, but the loss hangs heavy over the Kidd/Neidhart clan … until a solution is reached and Tyson brings home a new kitten, who is immediately doffed in a goofy pink bib and christened King Louis. As Lemmy once said: bow down to the King.

While this takes place, Nikki Bella’s long layoff is starting to raise issues with both WWE management and Brie Bella herself as to how serious she is about getting back in the ring. Nikki insists it’s a priority, although she seems a bit too comfortable applying muscle stims to John Cena’s pecs to convince anyone of this, and Brie and her twin have it out over a tense brunch with all the Divas in attendance. Nikki actually ends the episode on a bit of a down note when she and Eva Marie are bumped as Brie’s valets during Night of Champions, though she resolves to both fight back from adversity and find some joy in her sister’s burgeoning solo career, so the slump clearly won’t last too long.

For the second time in as many weeks, Jimmy Uso (Jon) and Naomi (Trinity) are butting heads. First, it’s over the outfit Naomi picks for a JET magazine shoot – it’s a bit too skimpy for Jimmy’s taste – and then over a plan by WWE executives that would pair Naomi with a new male Superstar. Jimmy’s jealousy kicks into overdrive and he tries to nip the arrangement in the bud. Unfortunately, it lands Naomi in hot water with the brass and – more importantly – Jimmy in hot water with Naomi. It looks worse than usual for a while, though a heartfelt confession heals all wounds at the 11th hour.

JoJo competed in a Re-match of the 7 on 7 Divas Tag Team elimination match that went on at Survivor Series last night on Raw! JoJo got tagged into the match after Natalya unleashed on Tamina, and JoJo Pinned Tamina for the first time! We have to say, we’re loving her fast and energetic moves. Check out WWE.com’s Review of the Match last night:

Team ‘Total Divas’ def. Team ‘True Divas’ in a 7-on-7 Survivor Series Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match

It’s not every day a Survivor Series team gets a mulligan the night after suffering a defeat, but the sports-entertainment fates smiled upon “Team True Divas” after their loss to the “Total Divas” crew, allowing Divas Champion AJ Lee & Tamina a chance to avenge their loss against E!’s newest stars. Alas, they could not capitalize, and the “Total Divas” scored a repeat when a slew of fast eliminations (JoJo pinned Tamina!)narrowed the True Divas down to AJ Lee & Summer Rae. Brie Bella dispatched the Divas Champion, and when an overwhelmed Summer attempted to ditch the match entirely – after a dance-off, of course – Nikki Bella not only denied Fandango’s dance partner but put the match to bed with a Torture Rack.

For her first ever PPV Match, JoJo done incredibly well! The crowd loved her, chanting “We want JoJo” & “Let’s go JoJo” during the match. Not to forget, she looked amazing. Check out WWE.com’s match Review below:

Natalya, The Bellas, The Funkadactyls, JoJo & Eva Marie def. Divas Champion AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Rosa Mendes, Summer Rae, Aksana & Alicia Fox

BOSTON – At Survivor Series Sunday night, the jealous Divas Champion AJ Lee, her enforcer Tamina Snuka and a posse of five other rebelling Divas were served an eye-opening reality check that would make Roddy Piper and all of the Real Housewives proud. It was a close call, but the technical prowess of Natalya made the difference in the cast of “Total Divas” prevailing over a team of resentful competitors not showcased on E!’s hit reality series.

Alicia Fox was quickly pinned by the impressive Naomi following a dazzling split-legged springboard moonsault from the top rope. Following the eliminations of Cameron and Rosa Mendes, Nikki Bella and Summer Rae entered into an impromptu dance contest, but Summer was a bit too confident in her tango. With Fandango’s waltz partner posing in the ring, Nikki nailed her with a stiff kick to the skull, sending Summer from the ring back to the ballroom.

Former Divas Champion Kaitlyn showed her muscle as The Hybrid Diva eliminated both “newbie” Eva Marie and the funky Naomi with back-to-back executions of a maneuver that sent them from her shoulders to a knee in the gut. Brie Bella achieved immediate retribution, pinning Kaitlyn following a top-rope missile dropkick.

Aksana and Brie were both sent packing next and the dangerous Tamina Snuka stepped between the ropes. The daughter of Jimmy Snuka wiped the canvas with Nikki, and the exhausted Bella Twin slowly crawled to her corner to find only JoJo available and holding out her hand. Nikki reluctantly tagged in the youngest member of her team, giving JoJo her first official taste of WWE action. The rookie folded like a tent under the colossal Tamina. A momentary burst of energy afforded JoJo the opportunity to attempt a crossbody off the top rope, but Tamina caught the E! star in mid-air. A Samoan Drop later and JoJo was toast. Tamina tagged in AJ, allowing the detestable Divas Champion to score the pin.

Natalya entered the contest to tangle with Tamina in a clash of second-generation Divas, but Jim “The Anvil” likely winced at the sight of her daughter’s head crushing against the turnbuckle courtesy of the mighty Tamina. Yet, the powerful Diva was a bit too confident and, upon missing a Superfly Splash, tapped out to The Sharpshooter. An attempt by AJ to quickly gain the upper hand as the only remaining member of her team was unsuccessful. With Bret Hart looking on, Nattie locked AJ in another Sharpshooter, forcing the outspoken Divas Champion to submit.

With Natalya and Nikki Bella as the bout’s survivors, the cast of “Total Divas” was momentarily drama-free in Beantown, but their camaraderie likely won’t translate when the E! cameras start rolling again.

The WWE Universe will witness Diva warfare this Sunday when the cast of “Total Divas” takes on Divas Champion AJ Lee and, in the words of The Black Widow, the “true Divas” of WWE in a Traditional Elimination Tag Team Match at Survivor Series.

The 7-on-7 encounter, symbolic of an apparent schism among the division’s roster, was welcome news to the reigning and defending Divas Champion, who has repeatedly condemned the cast of E! Network’s smash hit. WWE fans no doubt remember the #PipeBombshell’s skewering of the “Total Divas” in August, when she lumped them all together as “cheap, interchangeable, expendable, useless women.” Since then, AJ has yet to let up, insisting she and other Divas are unfairly forced to play second fiddle to the reality TV sensations.

Now, AJ’s crusade has seemingly found support in the form of her Survivor Series teammates, Kaitlyn, Rosa, Aksana, Alicia Fox, Summer Rae and the ever-intimidating Tamina Snuka.

Despite the champion’s claims that the women of “Total Divas” are better suited for reality television than vying for her title, Natalya, The Bellas and their cast mates will assuredly provide stiff opposition to AJ’s team. Regardless of which crew has the perceived advantage, a Survivor Series’ 7-on-7 match is nothing short of a Divas all-star bout, with six of the ladies having held the butterfly-emblazoned title.

How will these two squads fare as cohesive units? The “Total Divas” cast has not always been harmonious, and there are certainly rivals to be observed on Team AJ (most notably the Divas Champion and her ex-best friend, Kaitlyn). Could there be dissension in the ranks? Add in the presence of WWE rookies Summer Rae, JoJo and Eva Marie, and this Sunday’s Divas Match is packed with fascinating variables.

Watch how it all plays out when 14 of WWE’s top Divas enter an all-out elimination war at Survivor Series, which airs live on pay-per-view this Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT.
